No building work, no power cuts and no paperwork on your side. We take care of everything. You just start saving with 100% green energy.

The process, step by step

Switching to Aldea in four steps

01
Work out your savings or give us a call

Use the calculator to see how much you could save, or call us on 900 953 223. We explain everything in plain language, no strings attached.

02
We check for a solar community near you

We look for a solar community within 1 km of your home. If there is one, you can join without installing anything. And if there isn't, you still get 100% green energy.

03
We handle the switch for you

We take care of all the paperwork with your grid operator and your previous supplier. You don't have to notify anyone or fill in any forms.

04
You start saving with green energy

Once the switch goes through, you're with Aldea. The same electricity as always, now clean and usually cheaper.

Why it's so easy

Changing supplier doesn't have to be a hassle

The switch is purely administrative. We don't touch your installation and we don't cut your power. Here's what you can expect.

No building work or installation

You don't need to put panels on your roof or do any renovations. If you join a solar community, the generation happens outside your home.

No power cuts

The switch happens behind the scenes, in the systems. At home you won't notice a thing: your electricity keeps working as usual throughout the process.

No lock-in

We don't tie you down with endless contracts. You stay because it suits you, not because you can't leave.

We're with you all the way

You get a real person and a phone number, not a bot. Any question you have, we'll sort it out in language that actually makes sense.

Frequently asked questions

What everyone asks before switching

Will my power go out when I switch? +

No. The switch is purely administrative: it's handled in your grid operator's systems, not in your home. There are no cuts or interruptions, your electricity keeps working normally the whole time.

Do I have to install anything at home? +

No. There's no need to fit panels, batteries or do any work. If you join a nearby solar community, the panels are elsewhere and you receive your share of the energy through the usual grid.

Is there any lock-in period? +

There's no lock-in. You can leave whenever you want with no penalties. We'd rather you stayed because you're happy.

What happens with my current contract? +

We take care of cancelling your previous contract and activating the new one with Aldea. You don't have to call your current supplier or cancel anything yourself: we handle it for you.

How long does the switch take? +

Once you sign, switching supplier usually takes around two or three weeks, depending on the grid operator's timelines. We keep you posted so you always know where things stand.

Do I need to live near a solar community? +

To join a solar community, yes: you need to be within 1 km. But even if there isn't one nearby, you can still sign up for our 100% green energy as a supplier.

Shall we run the numbers together?

Work out your savings in a minute or, if you prefer, let's talk and we'll explain everything at your pace.
